Why are some colors and finishes priced differently than others?
Some of our lumber is priced differently because it takes more time and materials to create certain colors and finishes.
Colors
We require clear and white plastic to make our light and vibrant lumber shades. All the plastic we receive is cleaned at our recycling facility, but clear and white plastic undergoes extra thorough cleaning to ensure the brightest hues possible in the final product. During the sorting process, we also take more time to ensure all the dark and pigmented plastics are removed.
Finishes
To make our Vintage Finish lumber, our extrusion team uses extra components and special equipment to carefully create the wire-brush texture. This makes the extrusion process more time-intensive, but the final result is worth the wait.
Furniture prices are listed on category pages and at the top of individual product pages. Prices vary depending on lumber color and finish.
