POLYWOOD Material Contents
Genuine POLYWOOD lumber is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a durable and infinitely recyclable plastic widely used to make milk jugs, laundry detergent containers, bottle caps, and more. HDPE, by nature, is an extremely durable plastic that is weather-resistant and easy to clean—perfect for outdoor furniture.
We currently recycle millions of landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastic containers every year and transform them into genuine POLYWOOD lumber. No wood or natural fibers are included in the material.
Our light-stable pigments along with UV inhibitors and stabilizers run continuously throughout the material and protect our lumber from harmful environmental degradation. No painting or waterproofing required!
