Which tables are accessible for wheelchair users?
According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), dining tables must meet specific dimensions to be considered accessible:
- Surface height: Between 28 and 34 inches tall.
- Knee clearance: A minimum of 27 inches high (from the floor to the underside of the table) and 19 inches deep.
- Width: A minimum space beneath the table of 30 inches wide.
