Do you sell pads or gliders for the bottom of furniture legs so my floors won’t get scratched?
The bottoms of POLYWOOD table and chair legs aren't covered. We recommend using leg pads and gliders when moving your furniture to protect your outdoor flooring from possible scratches or scuffs. While we don't sell protective pads, we have multiple suggestions to help you find the right products:
Felt Pads
Felt pads are soft and provide a cushion between furniture legs and floors, making moving smooth, simple, and scratch-free. Look for self-adhesive pads that attach easily, stay put, and won't damage your furniture. Felt pads are recommended for wood, tile, and composite flooring.
Plastic Gliders
Adhesive on one side to stick to furniture leg bottoms, smooth plastic on the other side for easy movement that won’t damage your flooring. Plastic gliders work best on wood, composite, stone, brick, vinyl, concrete, and porcelain pavers.
Rubber or Silicone Pads
Rubber or silicone pads are durable, waterproof, and work well on a variety of outdoor surfaces such as wood, concrete, and composite. Pick pads with non-slip features for extra stability.
Adhesive Anti-Skid Pads
Designed to adhere securely to the bottoms of table and chair legs or as mats that stick to flooring, these pads protect your floors and prevent furniture from sliding. Select products made of textured materials and waterproof adhesive to ensure a good grip to keep your pieces in place year-round. Anti-skid pads are touted to work well on all surfaces.
NOTE: Before purchasing protective pads or glides, find your furniture's weight and leg size and select pads that adequately support it. Additionally, choose the correct pad type for your specific flooring material.
