Removing Static Electricity from Furniture
How do I remove static electricity from my furniture?
While genuine POLYWOOD® lumber has a high surface resistance, static electricity can build up as guests use the furniture, then produce a small static shock if they touch a grounded metal surface such as a door, railing, etc.
To prevent static electricity from building up, we recommend spraying the furniture with a light misting of water. A thin coating of water molecules allows electrons to move more freely, cutting down on static electricity.
