Should I remove the plastic film from my POLYWOOD medallions?

Yes, peel the plastic film off the medallion after assembling your furniture. 

We put the plastic film over the medallion to protect it during transit and assembly. If the film isn’t removed, UV exposure will cause it to break down over time, leading to premature aging of the metal medallion beneath it.
