Why are some colors and finishes priced differently than others?
Some of our lumber colors and finishes are priced differently due to the additional time and materials required during production.
Color Variation Pricing:
Lighter and more vibrant shades of lumber, such as white and bright colors, require extra care during the recycling process. We use clear and white plastic, which undergoes an extra-thorough cleaning to achieve the brightest hues. During sorting, we take additional steps to ensure all dark or pigmented plastics are removed.
Finish Variation Pricing:
Some of our lumber finishes, such as our Vintage Finish, require extra components and specialized equipment to create specific textures and colors. These processes take more time but result in exceptional finishes with both visual and tactile appeal.
