How does curbside freight delivery work?
Most POLYWOOD products arrive at your home or business via curbside freight delivery. These shipments are also sometimes called LTL or "Less-Than-Truckload" shipments, a type of freight shipping method for orders shipped on pallets.
"Curbside" means a carrier brings your order to the curb or driveway. It does not include unpacking, assembly, packaging removal, or moving items in your outdoor space. POLYWOOD offers these services as part of the White Glove Experience, which is exclusively available for PW Designer Series products.

- Tracking updates: Please allow 2–4 business days for tracking information to update after your order ships. This tracking information will be available through the carrier’s website.
- Curbside delivery: All freight orders are delivered curbside—typically at the end of your driveway. The delivery driver will not bring the items inside your home or onto your property beyond this point.
- Scheduling delivery: Freight carriers will typically contact you before delivery to arrange a delivery date and time window. If delivery is not scheduled within a reasonable timeframe, the carrier may charge you a holding fee.
- Special requests: You may request a specific drop-off location , such as your backyard, directly with the carrier. Any extra fees for this service are your responsibility and depend on the carrier's policies.
- Signature required: You must be present at the time of delivery to sign the Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Inspect before signing: Check that all items are present and undamaged before you sign the POD. If any items are damaged, report this to the driver and note it on the POD before signing.

Q: Can I specify a location for freight delivery?
A: Delivering to a specific area, such as a back patio or garage, is called White Glove delivery. This service is included for PW Designer Series products but cannot be added to other collections. For non-Designer Series items, freight shipments are delivered curbside.

A: At this time, the White Glove Experience is exclusively available for PW Designer Series products and cannot be added to other orders.

Products from the PW Designer Series include premium delivery services as part of the White Glove Experience by default, meaning the furniture is assembled for you, placed where you want it, and the packing materials are removed from the site.
